A Boutique Escape On Lightner Creek

Our family loved the home! It was very clean and we are a picky bunch about cleaning so we were impressed. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed and not cluttered at all. The house also has plenty of room and privacy for a large family or group. The only issue we had was with the upstairs main kitchen’s stove. It was a really nice electric stove that only turns on when the special pots and pans are placed on it. We didn’t mind that it was electric but the type of pots and pans were the pretty stainless steel kind, which can be hard to cook on if you’re not accustomed to them. We burned a couple of meals and worried about ruining the pans so we decided to cook meals in the basement with the gas stove and non-stick pans instead. We just had to make trips up and down while cooking meals. Other than this small blip, which was more our own issue, everything was great and we would stay here again.

Aiyana was very quick with any questions that we had. The place was awesome, the area is beautiful, close enough to Durango yet far enough away. If you like mountain biking it is very close to the Dry creek, Highpoint trailhead. My wife drove me to the trailhead and when i finished my ride I just road right back to our place. It was awesome. They had a bike stand there to use to clean my bike etc. My wife and I had a great time there, and we will be back.

Great spot just outside of Durango! Perfect location for us and the dogs. Would stay again!

This is the only place we would stay when visiting Durango. The cabins look exactly like the photos. They are in a mountain setting that is quiet and serene but within minutes of everything Durango has to offer. Everything inside is immaculate and modern. The host family is super responsive and are the example of what superior customer service looks like. Everything we could ever need for our stay was already in place. The cabins have plenty of room, easy parking, and easy access. 5 stars aren't enough. Thanks for the great stay.
